    • No-wind day. Landing direction set: towards the mountains. You turn on final too early and looks like you gonna overshoot by a lot... You still at 200ft and already over the peas.
      What you gonna do?

  • Do’s and Don’ts

    DO

    • Gear checks from the time you are at the hangar to the time you leave that plane.
    • Be humble and open. Your life is not the only one you are risking.
    • Ask for help.
    • Introduce yourself.
    • Attend as many canopy camps and basic skills camps as you can.
    • Stay and party AFTER you are done jumping.
    • Be very kind to the manifest.
    • Put your trash in the cans.

    DON’Ts

    • Act like you know what you are talking about when you don’t.
    • Be afraid to ask strangers to jump with you.  It’s how you meet your future jump buddies.
    • Cut anyone off on final approach
    • Go against the landing direction
    • Bring your dog
    • Leave children unattended – the DZ is no place for a wandering little one unless you want to expose your child to danger
    • Smoke near the packing mat
    • Assume that someone who has a lot of jumps knows anything more than you
